I Sing the Body Electric
Hello darkness my old friend, please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a street-walking cheetah with a heart full of napalm, and I'm sure all that glitters is gold. I'm often inclined to borrow somebody's dreams till tomorrow. I need a fix 'cause I'm going down. So before I sink into the big sleep I want to hear the scream of the butterfly. Pleased to meet you, hope you guessed my name.  Manta Rays.

Lana Del Rey - Young & Beautiful.

“I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of my friend and bandmate Ray Manzarek today. I’m just glad to have been able to have played Doors songs with him for the last decade. Ray was a huge part of my life and I will always miss him.” ― Robby Krieger.

This is the end, beautiful friend.

helpmegibbler:

I do not want to go through the next 10 or 20 years watching my idols, people I love and admire, and even just figureheads of the 1960s scene die. I cannot handle this. The fact that this is basically what life will be like from now on is unacceptable.
